Ashanti Shequoiya, also known by the name Ashanti was born on 13 October 1979 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a performer and a singer of in the United States. Ashanti became famous as an teen and became signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. The singer was in fat Joe's What's Luv? song that same year. The singer also appeared on Fat Joe's song What's the Luv? The first female artist to take the first and second spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at number one, and Luv? at number two. Luv? What's Luv?
